Everything turned out so beautiful! And, more importantly, everyone had a great time! I think the open bar helped ... :)
July 2004 - After dating for 3 years, we were getting married. We just bought a house in Providence. Ryan worked at Raytheon. I was looking for a design job. We had just graduated from college a few months ago.
July 2005 - We had decided to start a family. Ryan was still working at Raytheon. I had started my own photography & design business. I was working at a newspaper.
July 2006 - We were still waiting to start a family. We got another cat, Marcus. Ryan was still working at Raytheon. I was running my business and was hired at a local sign shop. We were about to become an Aunt/Uncle (Katrina was born in September). I had just returned from a fun 3-week European vacation with my friend, Carilee.
July 2007 - We had met Korbin in Russia and were in the final stages of the adoption. We decided to move to Austin. Ryan was looking for a job in Austin. We were preparing the nursery for Korbin's arrival.
Now, July 2008, 4 years later we have a 23 month old son (he's 23 months old today)! He's the best thing that's ever happened to us. Ryan is a wonderful father. I love Ryan more and more each day and just love watching him with Korbin. Korbin is a lucky boy to have such a great role model and playmate. (I'm sure Ryan can't wait till Korbin is old enough to get his own computer with games on it... then it'll be LAN-party time... oh joy). We live in the great city of Austin. Ryan loves his new job. I have been a stay-home-mom for almost a year now and am starting to look for a job.
Tonight we are going to the Red Lobster in San Marcos, where we had our FIRST date together 7 years ago!
Our goal for the next 4 years: Be as happy as we are now, laugh a lot (should be easy with Korbin around), a little girl to complete our family, own a house in Austin, rewarding careers and a pet snake. haha
Here are some photos from 4 years ago
