Monster House

It's been a busy week with Nonna around.
(check the photos on the Flickr site to the right)

We have been shopping for a house for Nonna and working on the GoGoTeachers business (launching in September). We met with the Realtor twice this week. Once to look at duplexes and once to look at single-family homes. I think she'll purchase a single family home (that we'll move into and fix up for her).

We've also been eating out a lot (more than we should), drinking beer, staying up late, taking naps, running errands and checking out the sites.

Ryan made his famous Broccoli-Cheese dip a few days ago (we enjoy that dish about twice a year). We all squeezed around our table and watched the kids have a starring contest (Aiden loves watching Korbin). Korbin is doing very well eating with a fork. He even asks for it now by saying "fffff". It's cute.

Tomorrow night, Ryan and I are going to Video Games Live at The Long Center. Nonna gets to babysit Korbin while we enjoy a nice evening out.

Nonna leaves Texas on Sunday. We will see her again in a few weeks at Amy's wedding (in Michigan on August 9th).

Side Note: I am still job hunting for an Art Teacher position. On Wednesday I brought my resume WITH a box of homemade cookies to a high school in Pflugerville (that went over very well!!!). I have until July 25th to be hired (and register for the certification class). I also found 2 more schools with Art Teacher positions open today. I'm just hoping the phone rings soon! No interviews scheduled... yet!!!!

I had no idea that your mother was moving to Austin. I thought that she was just visiting.
