I was rudely woken from my nap today by a ringing cell phone...
I received a call from a principle at an Elementary School (a charter school in Austin). I have an interview on Tuesday at 3pm!!!
Hurray!
Better get my portfolio together! (I've been procrastinating)
UPDATE:
The job interview went well. The school doesn't necessarily appreciate/support the arts as much as I would like (it's a science/math school). The art room is tiny (with no windows) and supplies are limited.
But, if they offer me the job, I will take it. I need experience. And, I need a job to finish my teacher certification!

Have you heard anything? I have some books for you to borrow for your first couple of years. Mostly class management stuff. Keeping my fingers crossed....
