Almost! Korbin says "Dada" and "Mama". He tries to say other things... like banana ("Baba"), ba-bye ("Baba"), ball ("Baba") and whatever else he points at becomes "baba", too. See a pattern?!?! haha
At least he's trying! :)
Sometimes we go outside when Daddy is on his way home and wait for a little red truck. As soon as we spot it from our balcony, Korbin gets really excited and shouts "Dada" (sometimes he gets the car wrong and yells that at another vehicle). It's really cute. Unfortunately, every time we go on the balcony he thinks we are waiting for Daddy (which leads to some disappointment).
Korbin is learning to eat with a spoon, and doing very well. We try to give him something every day that will help him practice (oatmeal before bed or something equally as thick throughout the day). He enjoys eating with the spoon and taking BIG bites (which we make a BIG deal of our hand jestures). He still needs more practice... but we are getting there!
Also, Korbin has developed a little "attitude". He gets frustrated easily and lets us know by rolling around on the floor whining. If we leave the playground earlier than he wants then we get a screaming child that refuses to get in the car seat. He arches his back so that we can't buckle him in. It's kinda funny... sorry, but you have to laugh! (What else can you do?!) :)
In other news, what on earth happened to the neighbor across the parking lot?! I noticed the broken glass door and furniture tossed over the side of the railing, yesterday. Later the resident was outside sweeping the patio and on the phone. Not sure if it was an accident, or not!?! Hopefully, they'll get the door fixed, soon (last night we had little storm).Tomorrow we are going the Farmer's Market downtown. They are having a fun Earth Day Festival. We'll have to buy Korbin lots of fresh blueberries and a few other of his favorite fruits and vegetables!

I hope you're teaching him to say "Nonna". That's close to NO and most kids learn that early on. I'm getting anxious to see him. Please give him a kiss from NONNA. xoxo
Did you ever find out what happened across the way?!? Domestic dispute? ha! let's hope not!
Can't wait to see Korbin in a few weeks! And ya'll too! ha!
Oh my gosh he is so cute. How do you not just squeeze him and hug him all day long?? I love his smile, too!
