Actually, red. That's Korbin's favorite word now. He runs around and points out things that are red and says "red". It's great. He is working on blue or "buuu" and can recognize, but not say, some of the other basic colors.
Korbin's teacher told me that he is showing a lot of interest in potty training. She urged me to buy "pull-ups" training diapers and encourage his interest. She also told me that she thinks he is very smart for his age and didn't understand why his speech was so delayed. I told her that he was adopted at 12 months from Russia which helped her realize that he is playing catch-up. :) She is impressed with his way of communicating (body language, facial expressions, sign language and a few select words).
This weekend we are flying out to Phoenix, Arizona. Ryan's grandfather passed away on Monday night. He was struggling with cancer. He was a great man that loved his family very much. He will be missed. The funeral is on Saturday.
