Raising Arizona

Ryan, Korbin and I spent the weekend in Phoenix, Arizona. Ryan's Aunt Tammee housed us for the 50th Anniversary party that we all attended on Saturday for Ryan's grandparents.

Korbin had a great time. He loved Tammee's 3 dogs. She has two beagles and one small terrier mix. I think Korbin got enough licks to count for two complete baths! :) He also enjoyed playing with Hollee (Ryan's cousin). Hollee and Korbin became quick friends and spent a lot of time together.

The Anniversary party was fun. Lots of people! Lots of people trying to spoil poor little Korbin. He ate and ate and ate (for some reason people always feel they should feed him). He posed for photos, got lots of hugs and played in the backyard with any one that would jump up from their chair. It's no surprise that he was super tired by the time we arrived back at Tammee's house. He crashed! The next morning we had breakfast and then Korbin crashed, again! Geez. We were all pretty tired. Somehow we managed to stay up long enough that night to finish off the "forbidden beers" from the party out on the porch with Tammee and Daryl. :)

Two weeks from now we are traveling to Ohio. I have a feeling it will be a little more intense... a little more food (OK, a lot more food) and a little more over-the-top attention.

I think after that Ohio trip we'll have a few weeks to recover... during our move! :P
