MEDICAL UPDATE on Korbin!
Today we visited the doctor's office for his 2 year check-up. After telling the electronic train in the waiting room to "go gooooo" (a little game we play when we are in an airplane, shopping cart or on the sit-n-spin) for a few minutes we headed back to have him weighed and measured. Here are the results:
Weight: 23.10 lbs (5% for age)
Height: 32.75" (10% for age)
Head: 46.8" (10% for age)
He has gained 2.16 lbs and grew 1.25" since April. The doctor said he is doing very well and is catching up with his weight (he was below the growth chart... now he's actually on it). He's a short guy, but he's growing at a good rate.
Korbin had to get one shot today. He wanted to watch... and then he cried pretty good for a few minutes. Poor guy. A few tosses in the air and he was back to normal... running down the hallway to get out of there! :)
In similar news, Korbin has become extremely aware of "boo-boo's" and "ouie's". He gets a very concerned look on his face and then wants everyone (including himself) in the room to kiss it and feel sorry for him. He points out stuff on everyone else, too. Korbin also likes to tell you the story of how it happened (with gestures, signs and sound effects). He makes the same concerned face when another child cries (when he hears it at the grocery store, etc.). He wants to see what's wrong.
He is such a caring and sweet little boy. He won't eat any of the left-over animal crackers because they look like animals. We caught him giving one them a drink from his cup!

Haha aww! That's so sweet. Even Pete the black-hearted thought the animal cracker drink thing was cute. =)
