Easter Fever

Our apartment complex had an Easter Egg Hunt today in one of the courtyard areas. Unfortunately, Korbin had a slight disadvantage due to his young age. The other kids RACED to the eggs and collected them into large grocery bags! Poor little Korbin could only collect two eggs that Daddy helped him get from a tree. One kid tried to take one of Korbin's eggs while they were sitting at his feet! Thankfully, Dad told that kid to buzz off! (not in those words... haha). A few minutes later they had a hunt for the adults. We spotted a very obvious egg which happened to be a winner! We won an electric drill! Sweet!

I finally got my camera back from the repair shop. For those of you who didn't know... I dropped my camera on a concrete driveway during my last photo shoot in Providence Village. Great. It fell off of my tripod and broke on the concrete. Thankfully, I had my new lens on it, too! So, SEVERAL hundred dollars in repair later, I am back in business. [sigh]

Other news:
House is still on the market!!! :(
Ryan likes his new job. And, he LOVES the short commute.
Korbin recognizes A LOT of words. He does not say any words, yet. :(
My sister is moving to Austin in May (in the building across from us)
My brother is being transferred to Ft. Hood in August
I have lost a total of 13.6 pounds (as of 03/17... next weigh-in on Monday)
We are going camping next weekend!!! Yeah!
We won $10 on a scratch-0ff today! haha

Here are some photos from today.

About Korbin not really talking, I wouldn't be worried! From what I know, kids that have been exposed to two languages for a majority of time tend to learn to speak a little later than children only exposed to one language, but with no ill effect. Since he was around Russian speakers for quite a while of his life so far, that's probably why. I bet he still knows Russian words though! You should all learn Russian and have him be bilingual! He can be a professor at UT, I'm sure of it. A rival of Dawkins, no doubt.
