Three's Company

Korbin is now THREE! Can you believe it?!

Last weekend was his birthday. We had a low-key birthday celebration at a local park. A few friends and family came out to watch Korbin attempt to blow out his candles (those cupcakes taste better with spit anyway). :)

And, with turning three comes his interest in potty training! Woohoo. I bought him a "potty book" for his birthday. He loves it. He wants me to read it to him every time we are in the bathroom. In the book the child is rewarded by wearing "big boy pants". So, of course, that's what Korbin wants to wear.

Day 1 of potty training:
Did OK. I had to wash 4 outfits and a set of sheets by the end of the day.

Day 2 of potty training:
Did great! Only had 2 sets of shorts/underwear to wash.

Day 3 of potty training:
Perfect. No accidents!

Day 4 of potty training:
Perfect. No accidents (it was a school day, too)!

(He sleeps in pull-ups overnight. I want him to sleep well - and me, too. haha)

He is doing so well with it. I'm so proud of him.

Everyone kept telling me that we would know when he was ready... yeah, it's pretty obvious. I did not have to fight it at all. He told me he wanted "big boy pants" and we went from there.

Awesome.
