Look Who's Talking

Korbin: "Friend, Mommy?"
Mommy: "Of course I am your friend, Korbin!"
Korbin: "Mommy my best friend!"
Mommy: "Awww, thank you! I am happy to be your best friend!"
Korbin: "Daddy my best friend, too!"
Mommy: "Yes, we both love you so much!" [heart melting]

Korbin: "Mommy, I want see it!"
Mommy: "I'm doing the dishes. Do you want to see?"
Korbin: "Mommy, they same! Two blue cups are same!"

Korbin: "Mommy, road!"
Mommy: "Yes, we drive the car on the road"
Korbin: "This is road" (pointing at the road in front of us)


His language is improving at such a fast rate. It seems like everyday he is learning, and using, new vocabulary words. It's amazing! He is so curious and repeats so much of what we say.
I find myself understanding him better, too. I still have to "translate" for other people... but that's to be expected, at least at first.
