The Break-Up

As many of you already know, or have guessed, Ryan and I are separated. We decided that it'd be best if Ryan moved into his own apartment in mid-April. So far, things have gone fairly smoothly... considering the situation. The important thing in all this is, of course, Korbin. He is doing very well and is still the same happy little boy that he was before all this mess began.

Korbin is doing very well in school and is learning new words, daily! He is starting to put together sentences and surprising us with new phrases and sayings. He is growing up so fast. He would rather be outside than anywhere else, now preferably in the outside pool (like the one at "daddy's house"... his apartment complex pool). Korbin is such a sweet little boy. And, like most toddlers, he has his moments. :)

The phrases we hear a lot are: "I want it", "I did it", "I want to see", "I want juice", "thank you, mommy", "Outside, please" and more. He has the cutest little voice! :)

Last weekend we drove out to Louisiana to visit "Bubba" (my dad). Korbin did very well in the car and was a very outgoing and active kid the whole time we were there. He was very excited to see his grandpa and enjoyed our stay. This past weekend he went camping with Daddy and a friend. I'm sure he had a great time (since he was outside the whole time). :)
