Signs that we live in Texas:
Yesterday, I took Korbin to the doctor. His school called and said he had a fever of close to 102! While sitting in the doctor's office, with an icicle, Korbin started going through a kids dictionary book spouting off all the words he knows (and even counted a few things). The doctor was impressed with his vobulary and encouraged him to continue. He even told her the color of certain items! Nice.
He pointed at "ants" and then said "ouch" and started rubbing his legs and ankles! I guess he automatically thinks of fire-ants!
Anway, poor little Korbin has Strep Throat. He's doing great. He was singing and dancing yesterday afternoon and enjoyed a 4 hour nap. That makes me feel that much less guilty about being happy to get some time off work! :)
I finished reading The Great Gatsby (in 4 days) and ... then started reading it, again! I finished it then sat around for about 10 minutes thinking about the story. I picked it back up and started from the beginning. To my surprise (eventhough people had told me this would happen) I am liking it more the second time around! :)
