Yesterday, Korbin and I enjoyed the Pflugerville Holiday Stroll and Parade. They closed off Main Street and filled it with vendors, entertainment and lots of people. Korbin was being very shy and did not care for the dance shows (took me by surprise) or walking. He wanted to be held the whole dang time! The actual parade started 45 mintues late. Korbin LOVED waving at everyone in the parade. He'd wave and say "HI" to everyone! It was very cute. Then, we stuck around to see the lighting of the Christmas tree (which also was behind schedule). Korbin then attempted to blow it out! haha. What a cutie. This morning... I opened the bathroom door after my morning shower and was greated by a 2 year old boy in his PJ's. Someone (ie Korbin) decided to climb out of his crib and come into our room. OK. I guess it's time for the toddler bed! We switched it out this afternoon. He slept fine during his nap (whew). :)
We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Austin. My brother is turning 33 tomorrow and wanted to celebrate with his favorite dessert (cheesecake). My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Phil were driving through Texas and decided to stop and join us. I have not seen the two of them in 8 years! They caught us up on the family happenings, enjoyed a few laughs and then went home with Scott and Beth for a good night sleep before they hit the road tomorrow morning. We discussed planning another family reunion. I haven't been to visit my family in California in almost 10 years! I don't know my cousins (or even most of their names). Sad. I hope Korbin keeps a good relationship with all of his cousins! :)
I have an office party on Friday and a get-together with some college friends on Sunday. Then, we'll have company for a while. Nonna is flying in on Saturday! She'll bounce around between our houses (her 3 kids) before she heads home on January 2nd.
Cold front coming through tomorrow... (I hate cold weather!)
