Independence Day

Korbin is becoming more and more independent as each day passes. Sometimes we rejoice this new trait and other times it's a pain in the ass. :)

While exploring, Korbin does not like to hold hands anymore (otherwise it's OK).
Korbin wants to help push the stroller and the shopping cart (see picture... he pushes on the lower basket part).
Korbin loves to be outside (hasn't changed) except now he wants to walk down the sidewalk as far as we'll let him and then come back (sometimes he brings a stick that he found... or a leaf) (see picture).
Korbin wants to feed himself more and more each day (good and bad - messy).

He's doing so well. We THINK he is saying "cat" now. It is so darn close... we might just count it as a word. He recognizes more and more words each day, which makes communicating a lot easier.

He's growing, too. He wears some 18 month stuff.

Korbin also has several molars now. They are coming in strong and fast! Sometimes they really bother him and other times they don't (which is good). Thankfully, he is learning to chew and enjoying the finger foods. :)

Awesome! Let him learn how to push carts real good. I'll hire him to be my shopping buddy.
