OUCH!!!!

Korbin needed some blood drawn for lab work. I knew it was a bad sign when the lady behind the counter gave me a surprised look and said: "Wow, that's a lot!" OK, so I thought she meant it's a lot of tests... well, she really meant that's a lot of blood to draw. Great. So much for a quick prick and on our way...

Here are some numbers:
7 - The amount of new holes in Korbin's body due to needles (3 in the arms, one on each hand and one on each foot) They did say he has great veins... they just needed way more than each little vein could deliver.

16 - The number of viles to fill with blood

60 - The number of minutes it took to withdraw all this blood

60 - The number of minutes he screamed and cried

2 - The number of people in the waiting room (probably terrified to go next)

100 - The number of smiles he gave me in the car after we left that dreadful place

0 - The amount of times he fought going down for his afternoon nap!

At least you are not like me and threaten the life of the lab tech for everytime they stuck him. He is so handsome regardless of all the band-aids. nikki

If you stuck me that much I'd cry too!

I love the expressions he makes! He looks like a little philosopher. And if Pete would have been the one to get stuck all those times, he would have passed out. I'm glad to hear your baby is stronger than Pete. That is not very difficult, though. =(

Poor baby! Glad he made it through, even if your hearing is probably permanently damaged from the screams.
