The Great Outdoors...

One year ago we decided that adoption was the path we'd take to start a family. We were on a camping trip, bundled up by the fire on a chilly late-October night. Now, one year later we share our love for the outdoors with our adopted son! It's been an crazy year. A emotional roller coaster, if you will. We had some tough times and now hold our awesome prize!

Korbin LOVES being outside (thank goodness). He really had a great time and was discovering all sorts of new textures and tastes! Yeah, some not recommended ... oh well. :)

He had a great time all day long. Learning and discovering. He fell asleep around 7:30pm after the grandparents left (Ryan's parents and my dad). He woke up once in the middle of the night. We decided to let him sleep between us (nothing else was working). He really enjoyed cuddling with us for the rest of the night, and so did we! It was a great bonding moment for all of us. :) We love him.

Can't wait to go camping in the spring! By then he'll be walking!

Perhaps we'll sit around the fire and decide where to get Korbin's sister! haha

I second the "sister" idea.
