Sorry for the absence in my blog postings. Things have been... well, let's just say that blogging has not been a priority over the past few weeks.
As far as Korbin is concerned, which is what this blog is primarily about, he is doing fine. He is a typical 2.5 year old boy. He is becoming defiant, testing limits and learning about independence. He is pushing our limits and driving us crazy at times, and, with almost thought-out-timing, making us laugh and enjoy our time together. He is a smart boy. From time to time he expresses himself in a behavior that is not learned at home, like yelling. Neither Ryan and I ever yell (sometimes raise our voice at Korbin to get our point across...). He will yell "no" at us over and over again... followed by several minutes of time-out. He'll sit there and keep yelling "no". It's funny and frustrating all at the same time. [sigh]
On a lighter note, he is picking up on his language skills quite well. He is using more and more words each day and loves to repeat things that we say. He surprises us often with words and/or phrases that he must be learning at school. We are excited and encourage this behavior by reading lots of books to him and asking him to repeat the words we say. He is also very good about cleaning up and following directions (usually). The teachers at school comment on his good behavior and willingness to help around the classroom. He's a good kid. Thank goodness.
He loves being outside. He loves to dance. He loves airplanes and trains. He loves animals, books and discovering new things. He loves big yellow school buses and firetrucks. He loves juice, any kind, vegetables and yogurt. He loves shoes and hair accessories (newest discovery)! He loves his family and making us laugh... and, my favorite, he loves getting hugs and kisses! :)

Cute :D It's good to hear that not all kids are picky eaters and that some actually do love their veggies!!
Plus he's turning into a handsome little man!
Hope you are doing okay!
Wow. We are totally having the same problem with Desmond at this point. No happens to be his favorite word. Don't get me started on the hitting and biting.
Read your more recent posts. Sounds like it is getting better. There is hope....
