Update on Korbin!

Korbin is now walking very well. He can walk quite a distance before falling. On December first he stood up on his own for the first time (without holding on to anything).

Korbin recognizes several words. He knows light, dog, cat, drink, music, ear (learned that one yesterday), kiss (we call it a "Korbin kiss"), shoes, downstairs, outside, come here, and a few others.

Korbin is very strong. He loves to pull, crush, push and squeeze. He tries to figure things out and how/if they come apart. He also likes to show off his muscles.

Korbin loves to wave. He waves at everyone on the street. He waves at us in the house. He waves at Ryan and I when we put him down for a nap/bed.

Korbin is getting a mouth full of teeth! We noticed a few molars breaking skin. Geez. Looks painful! We think he's getting a few on each side (all at once).

Korbin loves his shoes. He knows that they go on his feet and he'll hold up one foot when I ask where his shoes are (wanting me to put them on).

Korbin loves to dance. Still! I can even make up a beat and he'll start dancing. He doesn't care what the music is... he just wants to dance to the beat. It's a lot of fun.

Funny story about Korbin...
Last night we were quizzing him on some of his new words. We asked where the light was, etc. He was doing so well! Then, Grandpa Morgan picked him up and put him on his lap at the table. I looked at Korbin and asked: "Korbin, where is the dog?" Korbin quickly pointed at the light, then realized that was wrong and changed the direction of his finger to point to the backyard. It was hilarious! His facial expression was like "Oh crap that's not what I thought she was going to say!" LOL
