Ryan would like to explain our trip to everyone...
We depart Aug 31 and land in Moscow Sept 1.
The evening of Sept 1 we get on the overnight train (14 hour) and arrive on Sept 2. That day we get to see Korbin, again!
Then on Sept 3 we have our court appointment.
After court (with the assumption that we are found worthy of being Korbin's parents) WE WILL BE PARENTS! But the next 10 days we will be childless while he stays in the orphanage (this 10 day wait is standard for all adoptions in Russia).
On Sept 13 we can pick up Korbin and he will be in our care. Well by our care that means Ellen's care. My beautiful and wonderful wife is going to be in Russia alone from the 7th until the 26th.
I love her :)
From when she picks up Korbin until the 21th she will be in the region finishing paperwork, mainly his new birth certificate with his new name. On the 21th she will take the overnight train back to Moscow to get Korbin's Russian passport and his US visa. (Yes, on his return trip, even though he is our son now he is still a Russian citizen. It isn't until after we get him here that we can him his US citizenship.)
Then on the 26th she and Korbin will get on a plane and after 14 hours mommy and Korbin will be home and our life as a family will begin.

That is so great! Then me and Pete will babysit. Don't worry about it, just bring him right over. =)
